Murders That Made Us "a bouillabaisse of carnage" says Metro.

In his latest column, Gary Singh of The Metro writes that Bob Calhoun "cooks up a bouillabaisse of carnage" in The Murders That Made Us. Gary has covered the forgotten neighborhoods, strip malls, bookstores and punk clubs of San Jose and Silicon Valley as only he can for over a decade now, so his column focuses the chapter in MTMU about the mass shooting near Apple's HQ on the day that Steve Jobs died. "Gary unearths details that escaped me as he always does," Calhoun said after reading the piece.

Gary's collection of his columns, Silicon Alleys: Selected Metro Silicon Valley Columns, 2005-2020, is a fun journey through the parts of our nation's tech capitol that are so often overlooked by the media, but are far more representative of the actual people and culture of the place than its world-famous mega corporations.
